Over the last 12 years, our Companion Caregivers have had the incredible opportunity to spend time with many living with cognitive decline.
This role is so special and so unique as it requires a person that has a trusting energy and understanding of the language of cognitive decline be it visual or physical.
Our one-one Memory Care is specific to each person we spend time with and each visit relevant to their needs and interests.
Our training in the Gentle Persuasive Approaches gives our team the foundation in understanding Dementia care and strategies for respectful support.
In 2022 the CDHCIP program was introduced in Calgary.
What an amazing program for those that require additional daily support in their own homes.
We are so proud to be an approved provider in this program.

With CDHCIP you are in control of the unique support that you require.
After meeting with your AHS Case Manager, if approved for the program you will be allocated a certain amount of hours/month with a breakdown of the following supports:
Being an approved provider also means that we direct bill to Alberta Blue Cross Client Directed Home Care Program https://www.ab.bluecross.ca/resources/government-programs/client-directed-home-care.php allowing us to manage that for you.
